All members of the Council are summoned to attend a meeting of Yarcombe Parish Council to be held in The Yarcombe Village Hall on Monday 8th July 2019 at 8pm for the transaction of business as set out below.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

To sign as a correct record the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 3rd June 2019.

4. Parish Council Priorities
• Presentation of the John Salter Award, to the Yarcombe Young Farmers. This was John Carters nomination and he would like us to “emphasise their valuable work helping to support the Village Hall”.

5.b Open Session for Public Participation
• The new owners of the Yarcombe Inn would like to introduce themselves, talk about the inn and take questions.
• Discussion about the crowdfunding monies and suggestions.

• Return of Councillors’ Register of Interest Forms (Charlotte, Shaun, Lesley)
• ID cards for new Councillors
• We have been asked to provide a couple of Councillors Volunteers for the village market to sell pies in September (14th)
• To acknowledge the new tree in the layby – email received from Jon Stockwell “Just to let you know George and I planted up the new tree yesterday. Really helpful to have George’s pick up to do the hard work! If anyone asks the tree is an Acer ‘October Glory’ and should have brilliant autumn red colours”.
• Parish Information Leaflet – propose to continue with print edition and update the online version
• Consideration of the mobile speed radar system or other measures due to the speed of traffic coming through the village.
• Longcroft Meadow Signatory update – Mandate Variation From to sign.

Item 8. Clerk Correspondence
Further Correspondence as follows (for more details and copy emails please email the Clerk):
• Following a couple of emails to Highways, they agreed to put some more Road Closed signage out following the destruction of our Post box and many drivers ignoring what signage there was.
• Liaised with Company whose driver destroyed the Post box and knocked the Notice Board with a view to compensation for the Notice Board if required.
• Confirmation received that Councillor Caroline Ford is now a signatory on the bank account.
• Various email correspondence with Highways concerning the atrocious Diversion and Road Closed signage into the village in June
