All members of the Council are summoned to attend a meeting of Yarcombe Parish Council to be held in The Yarcombe Village Hall on Monday 3rd June 2019 at 8pm for the transaction of business as set out below.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

c. Suggest we ring-fence a further £500.00 for village maintenance out of the increase in the Precept.

8. Clerk and Correspondence
Discussion / Decisions and Actions required:
• Concerning the St John Ambulance emails for refresher training received in February. It was decided to postpone the decision until the new Councillors were in situ. Is this something we would still like to consider? If so, Clerk will obtain costs for anyone interested.
• Authority required to get some more Parish Magazines printed – £109.50 for 300 copies?
• New councillor photo – Peter Tarrant has offered to do them plus phone numbers (new one for Lesley?), email address, Declaration of Interest Forms to be completed when we are sent them from EDDC. Once we have the photos, we can obtain new ID Cards for the new Councillors.
• Consider the tree on the layby which John Stockwell has offered to replace.
• Consider keeping meetings to no longer than an hour and the start time – possibly 7pm / 7.30pm. As per Cllr Horner’s suggestion,” let’s keep to the rule, if you want a decision to be made in a meeting then this must be pre-advised to members by requesting an agenda item”

• Email received from Helen Matthews “Thank you Sarah Jane and Parish Council – we had a new Drakes Meadow sign put in place last month by East Devon DC and it looks great.”
• Notification of a new tranche of Grants available for village communities – forwarded the information to the Village Hall
• Cranbrook Town Council has been suggesting the creation of a Gypsy and Traveller Liaison Forum for East Devon similar to the one currently operating in Teignbridge: https://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/community-and-people/people/gypsies-and-travellers/gypsy-and-traveller-forum/ “If you would like to support the establishment of a Gypsy and Traveller Forum for East Devon then please reply to this email and I will convey the level of interest to East Devon District Council.” – Let Clerk know.
